Season pass or night pass
| Pass | Band | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| Night pass | That night’s colour | One band, one night |
| Season pass | That night’s colour, printed SEASON | A fresh band each night, against the season card |
| VIP and family enclosures | Their own colour each night | Checked at the enclosure gate |
| Volunteers and security | One colour all season, printed CREW | Issued daily, counted back |
Paper bands are made to be worn for a night or two, so a season-pass holder gets a fresh band each evening against the pass card. The band then tells the gate two things at once: it is tonight’s colour, and the holder paid for the season.
Nine nights, nine colours
Many people follow a colour for each of the nine days, and matching the band to the day is a nice touch. What matters more is that tonight’s band never matches last night’s. Stock colours: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, white, black, neon green, neon pink, neon orange and neon yellow.
Or use one colour all season and print the night number. A printed NIGHT 4 is quicker to brief and harder to fake.
The gate at 9 pm
- Separate lanes for season passes and night passes.
- Pre-counted bundles per lane, counted back at the end of the night.
- Scissors at every lane so a wrong band comes off at once.
- Numbered bands if you need a count per gate per night.
